Polaris HiSeq X Diversity Cohort. Whole Genome Sequencing of 150 Coriell Samples of diverse ethnic backgrounds

Whole genome sequence (WGS) data was generated on 150 Coriell samples from three different continental groups from the 1000 Genomes Project, including: 1) Africa, 2) Europe and 3) East Asia. To reduce the number of cell line artefacts, these samples were sequenced based on minimizing the number of passages (less than three passages each). These samples were sequenced using 2x150bp reads on an Illumina HiSeqX sequencer and are part of Illumina’s Polaris project to develop publicly available resources for population genomic analyses.
