The purpose of the maintenance of the register of farm animals

The purpose of the maintenance of the register of farm animals is to collect and systematise data on farm animals, keepers and places of business in order to exercise veterinary supervision and prevent and eradicate communicable diseases of animals and protect humans from diseases common to animals and transmitted by animals. The controller of the register is the Ministry of Agriculture and the processor is the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (PRIA).农场动物登记册的维护工作，旨在收集并系统化整理农场动物、养殖者及经营场所的相关数据，以开展兽医监督工作，预防并根除动物传染病，同时保护人类免受动物源性人畜共患病的侵害。本登记册的主管单位为农业部，数据处理机构为农业登记与信息局（Agricultural Registers and Information Board，PRIA）。
