Divergent responses of dryland soil microarthropod diversity to experimental vs natural precipitation extremes

This repository contains the data and R scripts supporting the manuscript entitled “Divergent responses of dryland soil microarthropod diversity to experimental vs natural precipitation extremes”. The dataset includes species matrices, environmental variables, processed analytical datasets, and reproducible R scripts for the precipitation-manipulation experiment and the natural precipitation gradient survey conducted in the Mu Us Sandy Land, northern China. These files support analyses of soil microarthropod abundance, alpha diversity, beta diversity, community assembly, response metrics, driver analyses, and PCA-based PLS-SEM. The archive contains raw data, processed data, analysis scripts, and metadata files.
