资源简介:

This dataset contains all raw simulation results related to the article "Combining second-order homogenisation and nonlocal damage for FE2 mesh-regularisation under moderate localisation" (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.compstruc.2026.108377), as well as most input files and the accepted preprint. The raw data is available in a zip file and results are organised following the section/subsection structure of the article. Since all simulations are FE2, two separate input files are required: the macro-scale file (.dat) and the RVE file (.rve). The macro-scale file includes the relative path to the RVE file to be used in the FE2 simulation. Furthermore, a results directory is created upon running the simulation, with the same name as the macro-scale input file.As a rule of thumb, we decided to have a large "rve" directory for each of the three numerical examples, where all relevant .rve input files are located. Results directories may contain: .reac files with the reaction forces recorded for specific node groups (usually where displacements are prescribed), which were used to create the load-displacement curves in the paper; .pvd files allowing visualisation in post-processing programs; and .screen and .res files with logs: .res files are logs of the input file reading, while the .screen files are related to the simulation. In addition to these, if requested in the input file (with keyword GAUSS_POINT_OUTPUT), specific pointwise results may be included in the results directory, namely .out files with the evolution of homogenised local variables such as stress, strains and damage, and additional .pvd files with the RVE associated with the Gauss point under analysis. The element and Gauss point IDs are appended at the end of the input file name to identify these additional results. These numerical results have been generated with the in-house finite element code LINKS. The .pvd and .vtu files allow visualising the results using Paraview (open source post-processer at https://www.paraview.org/).
