Texas fixed-rate residential electricity price medians by TDU (Power to Choose snapshot, 2026-10-17)

Median Electricity Facts Label (EFL) average prices, in cents per kWh, at 500, 1,000 and 2,000 kWh of monthly usage for fixed-rate residential electricity offers in six Texas delivery utility (TDU) areas: Oncor, CenterPoint, AEP Texas Central, AEP Texas North, TNMP and Lubbock Power & Light. The values were computed from one Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) Power to Choose residential offer export, dated 2026-10-17T12:49:54Z (1,857 rows; 931 English-language listings). Spanish-language rows were dropped because they largely repeat English offers. Prepaid and time-of-use plans were excluded. Each row gives the listing counts, the share of fixed-rate listings with minimum-usage fees or credits, a 1,000 kWh median that excludes those listings, and reference TDU delivery charges. EFL average prices include TDU delivery charges. Listings are unweighted, and the medians are market summaries, not quotes for any address. The TDU charge columns are reference values from Power Hopper's tariff table, not from Power to Choose (see README).
