DescriptionThis dataset contains four difference spectra extracted from JWST/NIRISS time-series spectroscopy of TRAPPIST-1 during stellar flare events. The spectra represent the spectral energy distributions of magnetically active surface features that vanished during the flares. Each spectrum is computed by subtracting the pre-flare spectrum from the post-flare spectrum, thereby isolating the contribution of the disappearing feature.
