Dataset for "You Only Look Once (YOLO) Based Machine Learning Algorithm for Real-Time Detection of Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) Diagnostics"

This dataset provides the raw digital images employed to train, validate, and test a machine-learning model for automatic classification of Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) assay outcomes. It includes labeled images of LAMP reaction tubes under different lighting and visual conditions, organized into training, validation, and testing subsets. The dataset supports the development of an automated diagnostic system based on YOLOv8, which detects and classifies tubes as positive or negative. These data were used in a study demonstrating that machine-learning–based analysis can significantly reduce human interpretation errors in LAMP assays and enable rapid, objective, and real-time result classification.
