Perceived energy consumption at home and in school/the office in Britain in 2014

This statistic shows how adults felt the energy consumption distributed between heating, lighting and power use at home or at school/the office in Great Britain in 2014. 42 percent of respondents said they believed heating the space and water used the most energy at home. Almost a third of those surveyed said they believed the lighting used up a substantial amount of energy at school/the office, whereas only 7 percent considered the lighting used up a lot of energy at home.
