Fungal Bioblitz in Białowieża Primeval Forest at 18th Congress of European Mycologists

The dataset presents list of fungal collections gathered during the eight day inventory in Białowieża Primeval Forest during 18th Congress of European Mycologists held in Warsaw and Białowieża, from 16 to 21 September 2019. The database consists of 119 collections, representing 105 species. Among them 32 are on the Red list of the macrofungi in Poland and 2 are additionally listed on the IUCN Red List. Finally, the study results in the discovery of 3 species new for Poland and 2 that were not previously reported from Białowieża Primeval Forest. As one of the Congress’ goals was to boost sharing data on fungal distribution via GBIF, this dataset is a pioneering fulfillment of the presented postulates.
