Prokaryotic microbiomes associated with tea litter decay

Green and rooibos tea litters were collected from 37 Australian coastal and freshwater wetlands after 12 months of decomposition. This dataset includes tea-associated prokaryotic microbiomes assessed by 16S amplicon sequencing. Soil-associated microbiomes taken adjacent to the tea are available at PRJEB44019. In addition to the microbiomes, data associated with this study include tea litter decay rates and a structural equation model using the decay and microbiome data.
