Whole Exome Sequencing of Patient-Derived 3D Bioprinted Models of Gastric Cancer and Their Corresponding Tumor Tissue

To ascertain the genomic fidelity of patient-derived three-dimensional (3D) bioprinted gastric cancer models, we conducted whole-exome sequencing on twelve bioprinted constructs alongside their matched primary tumor tissues. Comparative analyses revealed that the engineered organoids faithfully recapitulate the mutational landscape of the parental neoplasms, thereby validating their suitability as pre-clinical surrogates for precision oncology investigations.
