Clip-level lane annotation table for the Malaysian urban and highway driving dataset

This dataset provides a clip level summary annotation table, lane_clip_annotations.csv, for the 27 video clips released in the companion Malaysian Urban and Highway Driving Dataset by the same author on Mendeley Data (Clip #1 through Clip #27; see the manuscript for the full DOI list). The table contains one row per clip and eleven columns: clip number, driving environment (daytime or nighttime), road type (urban or highway), traffic level, lane marking type, road surface conditions, published frame count, independently verified frame count, published lane instance count, video filename, and whether synchronized vehicle dynamics logs are available for that clip. The frame and lane instance counts were originally reported in Poh Ping et al. (2019, Heliyon, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.heliyon.2019.e02169), where they were established through manual, frame by frame review. This table consolidates those per clip counts alongside descriptive metadata (environment, road type, traffic level, lane marking type, road surface conditions) into a single citable file, so that reviewers, replicators, and downstream users of the dataset do not need to extract this information manually from the original publication. Annotation in this table is at the level of per frame and per clip counts. It does not contain pixel level or coordinate level lane boundary geometry; for automated, per frame lane boundary coordinates, see the companion automated lane boundary annotations dataset by the same author (https://doi.org/10.17632/cnsj5fnb29.1). Released under CC BY 4.0, consistent with the rest of the dataset.
