These datasets can be used to guide manufacturers in formulating optimal cat food recipes, verify whether the moisture content of cat food conforms to relevant standards, ensure the quality and suitability of cat food products, and assist consumers in selecting cat food that meets regulatory requirements, thereby protecting the healthy diet of companion animals. ### Data Collection Cat food samples from various brands and product types available on the market were collected. Each sample was assigned a unique identification number, and the sample name, detection item (moisture content), and measured moisture value were recorded. ### Data Detection Appropriate experimental methods and analytical instruments were employed to measure the moisture content of each sample, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the entire detection process. ### Data Processing The specific formulas and criteria for evaluation scoring are as follows: 1. Classification rule: If the measured moisture content ≤ 10%, the sample is categorized as Class A, with the score calculated as (standard moisture content value / measured moisture content) × 100; samples meeting this criterion are classified as Class A, while all remaining samples are classified as Class B. 2.
