H2 and CO2 Network Strategies for the European Energy System - Supplementary Material - PyPSA Networks

Optimized energy system models of the European energy system used in the study "H2 and CO2 Network Strategies for the European Energy System". Each file represents one scenario analyzed in the study: - Baseline: hydrogen or carbon dioxide transport disabled - CO2-Grid: carbon dioxide transport enabled - H2-Grid: hydrogen transport enabled - Hybrid: carbon dioxide and hydrogen transport enabled. All scenarios assume neutrality of carbon dioxide emissions over the whole simulation year. The time resolution is three hours. The number of representative nodes is 90. Download the network files and open/analyze them with the PyPSA library (https://github.com/PyPSA/PyPSA). The files were created with the workflow published at https://github.com/FabianHofmann/carbon-networks.
