Intelligent analysis technology of simulation for secure and stable operation of new-type power systems

The large-scale access of new energy sources, the wide application of power electronic equipment, and the complexity and variety of grid operation modes in the new power system have put forward new requirements for power system simulation and analysis. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is urgently needed to complete the manual part of the traditional workflow, in order to reduce the dependence on experts, reduce the errors and omissions, control the analysis errors, save the labor cost, and improve the simulation efficiency. In this paper, we put forward the key scientific issues of the development of intelligent analysis technology of power system simulation, including “intelligent analysis mechanism driven by simulation data-knowledge hybrid” and “intelligent decision-making method of operation mode adjustment and stability control”, constructed a technical route including basic algorithm and engineering algorithm, and summarized the technical route including the basic algorithm and engineering algorithm, and summarized the technical route including the basic algorithm and engineering algorithm. The technical route is constructed, and the research progress and problems in intelligent analysis of power system simulation knowledge in-depth fusion and evolution, power system simulation and analysis data mining and knowledge discovery, power system trend analysis and adjustment of artificial intelligence methods, and power system stability intelligent analysis and control are summarized. Finally, five aspects of the future research direction is proposed, including new AI methods for intelligent analysis technology of power system simulation and decision-making based on reinforcement learning-based AI, AI methods for intelligent analysis technology of power system simulation and decision-making based on knowledge-driven and data-driven AI, AI methods for intelligent analysis technology of power system simulation and decision-making based on knowledge graph and big model, human-machine interaction intelligent analysis technology of power system simulation based on the combination of new type of intelligent interaction technology and simulation, and the AI method for online intelligent decision-making of power system operation mode optimization and safety and stability control. The work in this paper provides guidelines for the development of new-type power system intelligent analysis technology of power system simulation.
