This collection contains experimental data on the performance of fin-ray soft-robotic grippers which were developed as part of CSIRO's AI4Design innitiative.\nLineage: A series of gripper designs was produced by Bayesian adaptive experimental design algorithms which proposed batches of 10 gripper designs per iteration. The algorithm was informed with both real and simulated data, simulations which would run in-between real experiment rounds. The grippers grasping force data was measured on the gantry experimental platform at CSIRO's Pullenvale, QLD, site. Simulations were run using SOFA, an open-source software framework for interactive mechanical simulation.
