Melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) is a ubiquitous indolamine that plays important roles in biological processes in different organisms. Recently, it has been found to have a important role in the antioxidant response in yeast. In this study the transcriptomic response to mild oxidative stress driven by Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain QA23 supplemented to different concentrations of melatonin (5 and 25 µM) is assessed.
褪黑素(Melatonin,N-乙酰基-5-甲氧基色胺)是一种广泛存在的吲哚胺类物质,在不同生物的生理过程中发挥重要作用。近期研究发现,其在酵母的抗氧化应答中具有关键功能。本研究评估了添加不同浓度褪黑素(5与25 μM)的酿酒酵母(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)菌株QA23对轻度氧化应激的转录组应答情况。
