Digital Archive from an Open Area Excavation at the Former Dairy Crest Site, Fenstanton, Cambridgshire, 2018

This collection consists of GIS data, a report, and radiographic and site images from an open-area excavation at the former Dairy Crest Site, Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire. Works were conducted by Albion Archaeology between January and May of 2018. The open-area excavation primarily revealed part of a large, enclosed Roman settlement. A possible continuation into the 5th century or later is suggested by the presence of a Saxon sunken-featured building. In addition, twenty-four inhumation burials were identified, mostly contained within two small cemeteries.
