Raw data for manuscript titled 'Distinct pathway for evolution of enhanced receptor binding and cell entry in SARS-like bat coronaviruses'. Two mutations in the spike protein of bat coronavirus SHC014-CoV were found to enhance viral receptor binding and entry by regulating spike conformation.
