ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE–ASSISTED INTEGRATIVE TEACHING OF ENGLISH AND LATIN MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY: ENHANCING PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AMONG MEDICAL STUDENTS

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become one of the most influential technological innovations reshaping higher education and transforming pedagogical approaches worldwide. In medical education, the integration of AI technologies into language instruction offers unprecedented opportunities for improving the acquisition of professional terminology, individualized learning, and communicative competence. Medical students are expected to demonstrate proficiency in both English, which serves as the international language of scientific communication, and Latin, which remains the linguistic foundation of medical nomenclature. However, conventional teaching methods frequently separate these disciplines, limiting students' ability to establish meaningful semantic and professional connections between them.
