资源简介:
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and a leading cause of cancer-related morbidity and death among women globally, especially in low-and middle-income nations. Despite a low in incidence, breast cancer continues to rank among the top causes of cancer-related deaths for women in LMICs compared to High Income Countries (HICs). Although different systematic reviews have been conducted to address particular area of breast cancer early detection by focusing on epidemiology, treatment results, or particular interventions of breast cancer in LMICs there is still a lack of thorough synthesis of health system experiences. This scoping review is aimed to map evidence about health system experiences regarding breast cancer early detection practices, barriers, and enablers in LMICs. This scoping review will utilize the updated methodological guidance for the conducting scoping reviews published in JBI evidence synthesis. The literature search will be conducted using the following databases: PubMed, Web of science and Scopus. The aim is to retrieve all studies published in English language from January 2020 to August 2025 that contain information on health system experiences regarding barriers and enablers to breast cancer early detection in the LMICs.
