制药、化妆品、食品、环境、临床领域发现的真菌经过ITS序列测序后，利用获得的ITS序列通过和本参考数据库序列联配进行真菌种属水平鉴定，以实现污染菌调查、监控、菌种资源的初步筛选，质控菌的确认等目的。微数通过查阅真菌根据ICN发表的的物种及代表菌株清单，通过匹配NCBI nucleotide数据库，并通过进化分析、完整度检查（即包含ITS1和5.8S rRNA基因以及ITS2区域）清洗不合格序列，并通过第三方训练的数据库进行比较、阳性样本序列分析进行数据库的确认。

Fungi isolated from pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, environmental and clinical fields undergo ITS sequencing. The obtained ITS sequences are aligned with the reference database sequences for species and genus-level identification of fungi, to support contaminating fungi investigation and monitoring, preliminary screening of fungal strain resources, confirmation of quality control strains, and other related applications.

The curation of this dataset was conducted by Weishu, who first consulted the list of fungal species and representative strains published in accordance with the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (ICN). Then, sequences were matched against the NCBI Nucleotide Database, and unqualified sequences were filtered out via phylogenetic analysis and integrity check—specifically, valid sequences must contain the ITS1, 5.8S rRNA gene and ITS2 region. Finally, the database was validated by comparing with third-party trained databases and analyzing sequences from positive samples.
