This dataset contains numerically obtained time-of-flight (ToF) data for guided waves propagating in plates with complex, sinusoidally varying thickness. The dataset corresponds to the numerical investigations presented in the article “Guided waves in plates with complex thickness variations: comparison of statistical modeling approaches.” Only numerically calculated ToF values are included. The data were generated for plate-like structures with non-uniform geometry defined by sinusoidal thickness profiles. The considered plates differ in phase shift while sharing the same general shape function, allowing a systematic comparison of wave propagation under different thickness distributions. The dataset is intended to support the analysis of how thickness variability influences guided-wave propagation and how different statistical descriptions of thickness distribution affect the interpretation of wave-based measurements.
