GRETIL - Cumulative Download

The Göttingen Register of Electronic Texts in Indian Languages (GRETIL) is a resource platform providing standardized machine-readable texts in Indian languages that have been contributed by various individuals and institutions. In the initial version of the portal (https://gretil.sub.uni-goettingen.de), it was possible to download a zip file containing all the texts from a language or group of languages. These cumulative ZIP files can still be found in the DARIAH-DE Repository, exactly as they were on the GRETIL platform. In 2025, the project migrated to the TextGrid Repository platform, benefiting from the features of the portal, offering a more homogenous version of the files, and enriched metadata.
