Retrospective genetic characterisation of a Neisseria meningitidis cluster in Queensland Australia. Analysis of a N. meningitidis cluster

In 2002 a cluster of four cases was reported from Queensland, Australia, three serogroup C and one Y. It was postulated at the time that that serogroup Y case had arisen from capsule switching. This study has used whole genome sequencing to explore the genetic relationship of the isolates.
