Impact of in-feed cranberry by-products and fresh alfalfa silage exposition on sow and piglet gut microbiome and AMR profile

In this study, we explored the effects of exposure to alfalfa silage and in-feed cranberry by-products on sows and piglets, with a focus on animal performance and gut microbiota composition. We also examined the potential of these treatments to reduce AMR, contributing to more responsible agricultural practices.
