This Excel workbook constitutes the primary data file of the FABEST benchmark database. It contains standardized metadata and experimental results from stress-controlled fatigue campaigns on 42CrMo4+QT steel, including S–N data, material characterization, manufacturing information, residual stresses, surface roughness, monotonic tensile properties and embedded fatigue-life regression analyses (Basquin, Kohout–Věchet and LogLin). Interactive VBA macros enable transparent reproduction and modification of the regression analyses. The workbook also includes a machine-readable CSV export and supporting documentation.
