The price survey of 1kg of lemons in the Tokyo Metropolitan area supermarkets revealed an average price of 727 yen in December 2016. This is 68 yen cheaper than the national average of 795 yen. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the highest price for lemons in the Tokyo Metropolitan area supermarkets was recorded in September 2015 at 787 yen, while the lowest price was in January 2015 at 644 yen. The price difference between the highest and lowest price periods for lemons in the Tokyo Metropolitan area (from September 2015 to January 2015) was 68 yen.
