In the current study, we carried out immunprecipitation using a catalytically inactive uracil DNA-glycosylase and sequenced the regions that are enriched in uracilated in DNA fragments. Our goal was to characterize the genomic distribution within the late stage schizont parasites in wild-type and base excision repair mutant, uracil DNA-glycosylase knock-out parasites. The reads were sequenced using an NovaSeq 6000 platform. For reference: PMID 32956035.
