Year 1 Focus Group - Teacher Experiences

A focus group of participating teachers will meet in the second week of August. To respect teachers’ contracted summer break time, we are waiting to conduct the focus group until after teachers return to school in August. During the focus group, teachers will be asked to share their experiences in project Year 1. Teachers’ responses will be transcribed and analyzed for themes, repetitions, and key words. We will provide a data file of coded teacher responses demonstrating key words, themes, and repeated words and phrases. Data analysis will focus on understanding teachers’ experiences to document implementation and make recommendations for refining the project in future years. We project that data and analysis will be completed and uploaded by August 31, 2026.
