Triticum aestivum Transcriptome or Gene expression

Hexaploid bread wheat arose by two polyploidization events from three diploid species with homoeologous genomes. Chinese Spring nullisomic-tetrasomic (nulli-tetra) lines are a set of classical aneuploid homoeologous chromosomes. The plants can grow normally with significant morphological variations. Despite these interesting phenomena, the molecular mechanisms of the dosage deletion and compensation in these useful genetic materials are still not available. To access the perturbations of gene expression in nulli-tetra lines (NTs), we studied the transcriptome of two-weeks seedling of the seventh group including N7AT7B, N7AT7D, N7BT7A, N7BT7D, N7DT7A, N7DT7B and Chinese Spring.
