Greenhouse gas emissions profile by sector

City of Sydney community greenhouse gas emissions data in tCO2e by sectors from baseline 2005/06 to data available for the latest financial year. Data includes emissions from electricity, gas, transport, waste and wastewater, largely derived from utility and statistical government data sets. <div><br /></div><div>GHG emissions sources: </div><div>Electricity: Total greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the production and distribution of electricity used by all building sectors in the City of Sydney local government area. </div><div>Gas: Total greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the distribution and use of natural gas by all building sectors in the City of Sydney local government area. </div><div>Transport: Total greenhouse gas emissions from residential and work transport across all modes. </div><div>Waste: Total greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the transport and disposal of residential and non-residential waste within the City of Sydney local government area. </div><div>Wastewater: Total greenhouse gas emissions from estimated wastewater generated within the City of Sydney local government area</div>
