Data about website accesses from April 2018 to March 2019

This dataset contains three files with descriptive statistics about the accesses done to the OpenCitations website (opencitations.net) and related Figshare resources from April 2018 to March 2019. In particular, the OpenCitations website has been accessed more than 3.1 million times by more than 68,000 unique visitors (identified by their IP addresses), while Figshare documents have obtained more than 20,000 views and 3,000 downloads overall. All these figures do not contains accesses made by automated agents and bots.<br>CSV files:<br>* "accesses.csv" contains all the accesses done to the OpenCitations website, grouped in five different categories – "HTTP_CONT_NEG" (i.e. HTTP content negotiation) indicates the direct accesses to stored resources by means of their HTTP URI, "INTERFACE" indicates the use of Web interfaces for browsing and searching bibliographic and citation data, "API" shows the calls to the various REST APIs, "SPARQL" indicates the calls to the SPARQL endpoints, while "OTHER" lists the accesses to all the other resources;* "countries.csv" contains all the two charater codes (field "country") of each country from which the OpenCitations website has been accessed, accompanied by the related number of accesses (field "accesses");* "figshare_article_month.csv" contains the views (field "views") and downloads (field "downloads") at a specific time (field "month") of all the OpenCitations material stored in Figshare.<br>
