Mobile App Insights

This is a limited trial dataset, free to use.

This dataset contains insights and data about mobile publishers, apps and user reviews. This dataset is a raw dataset containing sourced public information from the to major app stores and publisher websites.

The dataset contains the following tables:

- mobileapps_app contains the mobile apps.
- mobileapps_publisher contains the publishers.
- mobileapps_review contains linked reviews for apps.

The dataset is intentionally build as a raw dataset allowing you to add value to the dataset and use it as a foundation for your own data products or similar use cases. The value of the dataset is that you get access to reliable and affordable data at scale without having to build your own sourcing methods, managing infrastructure and more.

The dataset is useful for a number of tasks:

- Lead generation for anyone working with mobile publishers.
- Reporting / Insights / Research about consumer behaviour, trends and more.
- Understand app monetization.

The dataset is updated weekly

The full dataset contains 2.2M apps across both app stores and 144M reviews.

Currently, the dataset is not revisioned, so contains a snapshot of the apps across both app stores. It does not contain the public top lists and collections.

Expected workflow:

- Customer shares any filters they wish to have applied. For example, the type of store, category of apps or language.
- Datandard will create a private share with the filtered data.
