Next Generation Sequencing Facilitates Quantitative Analysis of yeast cells lacking either M-2 dsRNA or both L-A-lus and M-2 dsRNA viruses

Here we determine the impact upon the loss of M-2 dsRNA alone and both L-A-lus along with M-2 on the host S. cerevisiae transcriptional changes. By performing profiling of the whole transcriptomes, we determined 486 genes differentially expressed after curing of yeast cells from M-2 dsRNA and 715 genes affected by the elimination of both M-2 and L-A-lus dsRNAs.
本研究旨在探究单独移除M-2双链RNA(double-stranded RNA, dsRNA),以及同时移除L-A-lus与M-2双链RNA,对宿主酿酒酵母(Saccharomyces cerevisiae, S. cerevisiae)转录组变化的影响。通过全转录组表达谱分析,本研究鉴定出:将酿酒酵母细胞中的M-2双链RNA清除后,共有486个差异表达基因;而同时清除M-2与L-A-lus双链RNA时,则有715个基因的表达受到影响。
