The oral squamous cell carcinoma cell-induced feedback loop immune response in fibroblasts promote osteoclast formation

Previous studies have shown that the RANKL provided by osteoblasts initiated osteoclastogenesis under physiological settings. In this study, our recent findings showed that OSCC-associated fibroblasts may act as a source of RANKL to promote the production of osteoclasts, which in turn may result in the bone resorption in OSCC.
