Whole genome sequencing Candidatus Ferrigenium straubiae strain KS isolate

Candidatus Ferrigenium straubiae strain KS is a member of the KS autotrophic, nitrate-reducing, Fe(II)-oxidizing enrichment culture community. The strain has been isolated and deposited at the DSMZ (Leibniz-Institut DSMZ-Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH) and the Korean Collection for Type Cultures (strain no. DSM 118991 and KCTC 25982). Genomes are available for this strain, derived from the KS Metagenome culture. Here, we publish the sequencing data of the first genome derived from the isolated strain KS.
