Conversion table between postal codes and INS codes
for Belgian municipalities (nomenclature from 01/01/2025)Method: the processing is based on the comparison of two datasets,
namely the overlay of the Bpost postal cantons dataset and the Unités
administratives - Communes dataset of the SPF Finances' Administration Générale
de la Documentation Patrimoniale.Constraints: in most cases, there is a one-to-one relationship between
postcodes and municipality codes, with the exception of 1040 (Etterbeek), 1050
(Ixelles) and 1804 (Cargovil).For technical questions about this conversion table, please send an
