Effects of low energy diets supplemented with Lactobacillus reuteri postbiotic on growth performance and intestinal health of broiler chickens

288 one-day-old Arbor Acres chicks, with an average weight of 41.675g, were randomly divided into three groups: a negative control group fed a basal diet, a coccidia and C. perfringens infected group, and a phloretin-treated and infected group. All chickens were weighed on day 43 after a 12-hour fast. Six chickens from each group were slaughtered for chyme sampling and further analysis.
