VPRS 16829 Minutes, General Correspondence and Financial Records of the Royal Children's Hospital Auxiliaries

This series comprises the minutes of meetings, general correspondence and financial records created by the various Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Auxiliaries.The auxiliary movement commenced in 1922 with the aim of raising funds and supplying articles to the RCH. Auxiliaries currently consist of community groups including like-minded business people, parents, students, young people and senior citizens.At the time of writing (2013), some Auxiliaries have wound up.Note that a Trust Account book is located in VPRS 16848.Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Archives. They were part of RCH accession numbers 1998/001, 2001/0009, 2003/005, 2006/023, 2008/002, 2010/001 and 2011/001.
