Hemoglobin, electrolytes, minerals, and plasma protein fractions by plasma protein electrophoresis in non-hemolytic and hemolytic plasma of 26 nesting leatherback sea turtles (Dermochelys coriacea).

Reference intervals are indicated for non-hemolyzed plasma. Parametric methods for sample sizes ≥20 but ≤40 were used to calculate reference intervals after Friedrichs et al. 2012. Normality was assessed using the D’Agostino-Pearson test, while outliers were detected using the Reed test. Whole blood hemoglobin results also shown. NA = not applicable.
