Hotel spa revenue growth in the U.S. by type 2018

Hotel spa facilities offer a place for relaxation not only for the guests at the hotel, but also for locals in the community. Moreover, spas provide an additional source of income for hotels, which can be especially beneficial during the off-season for tourists. During a 2018 survey of hotels in the United States, the average revenue increase at hotel spa facilities was at 4.8 percent between 2017 and 2018. This figure was even higher at resort hotels, where revenue increases stood at 6.4 percent.
