Brick with paw prints

ENG: Brick with cat paw prints from the site of Vinkebroek, a lost castle near Draaibrug (Sluis), Zeeland, the Netherlands. First mention in 1297. Typical 13th-century sized brick probably belonging to one of the buildings of a moated parcel with tower as depicted on the Pourbus map (1570). NL: Baksteen met de afdruk van een kattenpoot van de Vinkebroek-site, een verdwenen kasteel nabij Draaibrug (gem.Sluis), Zeeland, Nederland. Eerste vermelding in 1297.
