Replication Package for "Food Social Assistance, Regional Labour-Market Adjustment, and Poverty Dynamics in Indonesia"

This replication package accompanies the manuscript entitled “Food Social Assistance, Regional Labour-Market Adjustment, and Poverty Dynamics in Indonesia”, submitted to the International Review of Applied Economics. The package contains the processed province-year dataset and Stata replication files used to analyse the relationship between realised food social assistance intensity, open unemployment, and poverty dynamics across 34 Indonesian provinces during 2018–2024. The empirical analysis measures policy intensity as realised food assistance expenditure per poor person and estimates panel local projections at horizons h=0, h=1, and h=2. The package includes the processed dataset, a Stata-ready data file, the final master do-file, a README file, and a data availability statement. Socioeconomic variables are derived from BPS-Statistics Indonesia, while realised food social assistance expenditure is based on government administrative data. The materials are provided to support transparency and reproducibility of the empirical analysis.
