Daily-scale Beaufort Sea polynya distribution extracted using Terra/MODIS thermal infrared imagery and the skin temperature anomaly method. The dataset covers April of each year between 2001 and 2020, with data for April 14, 2002 missing. It includes daily-scale polynya distribution data, weighted cumulative data, and cloud detection frequency. All files are in .geotiff format, with raster dimensions of 1430 columns × 1372 rows, and the size of each individual file is approximately 1.9 MB.
