SIN-MLV retroviral integration sites in human HPCs. Homo sapiens

In this study we analyzed Self-Inactivating (SIN)-MLV integration profile in human hematopoietic progenitor cells , and compared it to the previously reported full LTR MLV profile in the same target. SIN-MLV have been recently used in gene therapy clinical trials, therefore the study of their integration pattern is important in understanding SIN-MLV integration-associated genotoxic risk in a clinically relevant cellular population.
