Data set for Understanding role of institutional structures in supporting implementation of prime vendor system and future implication of health commodities supply chain: A data set case study of Tanzania Main Land

The quarterly implementation reports show an observed increase availability of health commodities at health facilities, improved order fulfillment rates, and timely delivery of commodities, it made a huge contribution to Tanzania's public health sector.The executions/implementation of prime vendor system is anchored in the Government's structures starting from health facility level up to the National level.The study aimed at understanding the roles of institutional structures in supporting fidelity of implementation for prime vendor system and suggestions the future implications on health commodities supply chain in Tanzania.
