DIFFERENT INTRAABDOMINAL GAS PRESSURE VALUES DURING GYNECOLOGICAL LAPAROSCOPIC OPERATIONS

Postoperative pain is one of important distressing situation after gynecologic laparoscopic surgeries. Effects of different intraabdominal gas pressure values may have effect on the intensity of postoperative pain , shoulder tip pain and postoperative analgesic requirement.Aim of our paper is to compare the postoperative pain scores of different initial and intraabdominal pressure level laparoscopic surgeries. Study has been designed as prospective randomized trial. At final analysis , 171 patients were available. Postoperative pain scores were not statistically different between three groups. Postoperative opioid requirement was higher in 15 mmhg (high intraperitoneal pressure ) group.This finding was significant in laparoscopic hysterectomy subgroup.
