The genome sequencing of Limnodynastes dumerilii

1. Genomic DNA was extracted from the whole body of an adult animal Limnodynastes dumerilii . 2. Four libraries with short-insert sizes (170 bp × 1,250 bp × 1, 500 bp × 1, and 800 bp × 1) were constructed according to the standard protocol provided by Illumina (San Diego, CA, USA). 3.Ten mate-paired libraries with long-insert sizes (2 kb × 3, 5 kb × 3, 10 kb × 2, 20 kb × 2) were constructed according to the standard protocol provided by Illumina (San Diego, CA, USA). 4. Paired-end sequencing was performed for the fourteen libraries on the HiSeq 2000 platform according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
