We performed single-cell RNA sequencing on human bronchial epithelial cells infected with SARS-CoV-2. Results revealed a detailed characterization of genes, cell types, and cell state changes asociated with SARS-CoV-2 infection in the human airway. Overall design: Differentiated human bronchial epithelial cells were infected with SARS-CoV-2 at 1, 2, and 3 days post-infection. Cells were then harvested and processed for single cell RNA-seq using the 10X Genomic platform. Generated libraries were sequenced on NovaSeq 6000 system using HiSeq 100 base pair reads and dual indexing.
